Lulu would stare at a seemingly blank wall when I lived in an apt. Eventually a roach would appear. She'd catch it and (sadistic pussy that she is) she'd pull off legs on one side - and watch it go around in circles. Last summer, Sassy brought me a big bug from outside and plopped it on my lap. It was still alive - I jumped 3 feet. Had to tear my sofa apart to find the critter. I like Desp. Housewives too. Kind of endearing how they bring us live offerings and expect to be rewarded, but at the same time its just plain neanderthalic. Gideon's a total nut for bugs. He sits near the drain in the kitchen waiting for a bug to crawl out. *shivers* And then pounces. Whats worse than a bug? half a bug. Each of my girls has a stuffed animal toy that she will bring to my feet or leave by my bed. While bringing it to me (as fresh 'kill') she will howl and proudly present it to me. (I think it's because he doesn't have a brother/sister) Lulu's toy is a large (formerly furry) mouse. The poor thing is so destroyed - stuffing coming out - eyes and whiskers long gone. I've tried sewing it together many times. I've also tried finding a suitable replacement but no luck - she won't give them the time of day. I have a record 127 stuffed toys, none of which appeal to Gids. He mauled a mouse too! A white one on the end of a large bendy wire.
