What great eyes. What's Gideon's personality like? How about some funny stories about him? Since the weather is hot here - I give my 'girls' a treat. I'll take a can of tuna, drain the juice, add a few chunks of tuna, add an equal amount of water, mix it up and freeze it in an ice tray. I'll give them a 'tuna popsicle' every couple of days. He's clearly having an afair with the teddybear (see pic) but refuses to admit it. His personality? Quiet, almost sulky. But goes mad after midnight. He tends to 'burp' which is sort of a growl, and then he poofs up and walks sideways, away or towards us, depending on his mood, for absolutely no reason. He also sees invisible things, and tries to catch them, launching at them with a bloodcurdling burp and often smashing into the wall. We have a lot of walls. *grin* He likes to pull the wings off moths and watch them die. Sadistic little bastard. But we love him anyway *grin* Funny stories? he's too young for funny stories! posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.16.05 (5:56 am) SheSpecies' cat, JohnJohn, has a thing for stuffed animals too. (I think he's just lonely) He's pretty open about his bear. Walking sideways? Too funny! I'm wondering if it's his version of dancing - the song "Puttin' on the Ritz" comes to mind. Does he seem to do it to a beat? Lulu would stalk roaches in my apartments and take the legs off one side of them and watch them go around in circles and play with them. (And you think YOUR cat is sadistic?) He's not too young for funny stories. When I first got Sassy, she was 6 weeks old and could fit in the palms of my hands. (Lulu was 10+ lbs) Sassy held her own hissing and growling as they got to know each other the first couple of days. Then, the first "awww" moment was when they snuggled up together sleeping on day 3. Lulu was snoring and woke Sassy woke up, looked at Lulu and bitch-slapped her to wake her up. Lulu was like "huh?" and Sassy put her head back down and went back to sleep. 6 weeks old. Perhaps Gideon just needs a friend? I do think he is only. I want a friend for him, but restrictions from parents and such. *smiles sadly* *nodnod* He walks sideways, and while he does it his paws cross over each other, no beat needed, he yowls along to it ;) *laugh* Now that is a sadistic kitty *grin* My cat just tends to bite them in half. Hmm..Well, when I first got giddy, he used to sleep splayed on his stomach, paws flailing. And then he went onto his back. The first few days were all about hearing random thumps (Giddy falling off the tabletop, off the television, off the bed etc) and coming across a very dazed kitten *grin* Probably the most silly thing this cat did was lock himself in a glass cabinet, and enjoy it.
